Will removing rear blocks cause any issues?
I just bought a new 2012 4x4 XLT. I removed the rear blocks to lower the back to look better. I haven't noticed any issues and the truck drives and handles just like before I removed the rear blocks. I just ran across this thread on FordF150.net

I was just worried about the pinion angle, and screwing up the pinion bearing. I don't tow anything, or haul anything heavy in the back. I plan on keeping my new truck till the wheels fall off. I really like the lowered rear end look. Any info or ideas? Most people on this forum seem to use drop shackles. Will removing the rear blocks cause any issues?

I Like Tires
No need to worry about pinion angles. People slam these trucks a lot further without having to compensate.
The only adverse effect is if you have a heavy payload or tongue heavy trailer your steering is more likely to get light on you then if you have a rake.
