Cool, do you have any idea what the angles should be?

from what I understand, basically goes:

single drive shaft is easy:
what ever the tranny yoke angle, the pinion yoke angle should be the exact opposite
example: tranny points down 4deg = pinion pionts up 4 deg, ect.

dual shaft:
first shaft parallel with the tranny and pinion set opposite tranny.
or
first shaft up to 1.5deg off tranny and pinion set opposite first shaft.

you want the angles to cancel each other out, = 0, to get rid of vibration

i usually run -2 degree on the rear due to the fact if you hit the gas the rear end twists upward which will put it to 0. If you do it 0 when you hit hte rear gas will spin giving it positive

I see alot of people going with 2 and 2.5 degree shims. My reasoning is I had no issues before I installed the kit. So if I return it to the original angle with the shims, then won't I have the small issues as soon as I have a load that squats the truck 2"?

The thing I learned is that every truck is different. What works for my truck may not work for the next guys truck. But a 2.5 degree is a good and safe starting point.

What he said, there is no set number to give out. The only way to know an exact number is to measure.

So I measured my angles and here they are...

Transmission - 6.5 degrees
1st driveshaft - 5.25 degrees
2nd driveshaft - 3.5 degrees
Rear end - 1.5 degrees

Only installed the 2" shackle kit. I now have 3/8 of rake (rear taller by 3/8").

Should I get a 2 degree angle or a 2.5 degree, so when I load it down, I don't have the same issues?!?!?!
