Default Thinking of lowering my new King Ranch Screw, help

Never done anything like this but would like the truck to just be a little lower without causing any problems in ride or alignment.

What would be involved in dropping both the front and back about 2-3 inches. What hardware is required and who would I get to install it? What would it do to the truck as far as ride. I seldom haul or tow just want my ride to be more easy to get in and out of and load. Not getting any younger but love my truck.

Would like to keep my stock 20" tires and wheels.

Any help would be great. I fear most in doing something that would wear out the tires due to changing the alignment geometry or producing a harsh ride. I want my cake and be able to eat it, too!

Rear 2" drop shackle ($60) or so ... and can done in the driveway in less than an hour. Also for the front belltech drop struts ($200) or so ..for 2 inches out front ... If u lower the front u should get an alignment

So if I just lower the rear the 2" with the shackles, no other changes will be required. Would the ride and handling/steering be the same?

With the 2" shackles everything should remain the same... No alignment needed unless the front end is lowered, the ride will still be the same and the handling will be the same ... The 2" shackles should bring the truck just about level... Just let me know If u have questions about them...

I guess I need to order them and find someone in Jacksonville to install them.

Thanks for the information.

rear shackles are easy you can do at home. On the front drop struts you will need to use a spring compressor.

One thing if your truck has a lifting block in rear you can remove that also and add shackles for 2 inch drop. Front drop struts are the easy way to go also. Both front drop struts and rear shackles i sell for $290 shipped.

Since mid 2004 ive lowered numerous trucks with the drop struts/rear shocks and shackles and I have a lot of older customers and none of them have been unhappy with ride.
