Wow this is great news as I was still in the market to add an airbag kit to my lowered F150 using the McGaughy 2/4 flip kit. One thing I didn't like was the 2000lb max capacity. I really like the go-on3's set up but not sure I want to deal with the custom welding, etc. Does anybody know if the slam air kit WITH the add-a-leaf system will work to increase the tow capacity? Thanks in advance and great work guys!

Best of luck , I'm anxious to hear your impression with the Slam Air kit. I tried it and immediately took it off ... I've literally tried 4 different bag kits and even though my set up includes welding, the ride and handling of the truck is amazing and worth it. Here's my latest set up if anyone is interested..

- Chassis tech ,3" drop lower bracket
-Air lift upper frame plate mounts
-Air lift compressor and gauge kit
-Firestone 9001 Ride Rite bags

Custom fabricated center exhaust with relocated brackets for tow hooks, etc

Holy crap Go-on3, didn't you also have the Airlift LoadLifter 5000? If you could give us a run down of the setups you went through and why you ditched them that would save us alot of time, headache and $$$. Thanks in advance Go-on3!

Your more than welcome Here's a cliff notes version of my bag experience lol... I originally had DJM lowering kit and started off with the Slam Air kit and i didn't like how there was no room for error because of the height of bag supplied in kit and the placement (over leafs) of them. The ride quality was awful ! I then replaced djm shocks to Bell tech and it improved slightly but not satisfied. I removed entire DJM kit and installed Bell tech 1000sp.

Switched to 5k air lift bags mounted over u bolt plate and the bags were functional but knew it could be improved. Relocated 5k bags to 2" drop and behind axle mounts with much better results. The 5k bags were bello style with internal bump stops and bounced on certain bumps in road.

Installed a pair of Air lift 2k sock style bags that were designed for saleen s331 trucks( bought all of saleen left over kits from my Saleen contact). Ride quality improved but sold kit because everything is for sale for the right price ")

Switched to 3k ride rite bags (part # 9001 ) and 3" chassis tech brackets and I'm amazed how well it rides, handles, and tow my heavy boat with ease. Couldn't be happier and highly suggest this combo as it was by far the best option for my needs. Glad to help in Any way !!!

That's a pretty long journey you been through . I am very interested in this set up and was wondering if you could provide the part number for the top 3 items so I can look into obtaining these parts.

- Chassis tech ,3" drop lower bracket
- Air lift upper frame plate mounts
- Air lift compressor and gauge kit
- Firestone 9001 Ride Rite bags (Part# 9001)

In addition, were the lower bracket and upper frame mounts both welded on? or just the lower bracket? Thanks again go-on3!

Hello there my name is Steve. I have a 19’ limited and will be doing a 3/5.5 belltech drop. I want to do something similar to your setup. Can you tell me the details of your products and anything you have learned? Do you think I could run a rear anti-sway bar with this set up or no? Thanks again. Love your truck

Nice build!

I thought about doing something like that on mine. Instead I drilled out the bottom 2 holes in my tag. Looks clean and keeps someone from stealing my tag with just a screwdriver.
