Is it possible to put the leaf springs on the bottom of the axle. With all the factory hardware. and would that lower the truck any.

Hey, Bro, not sure if your new to trucks, as I am a bit, but what your asking is what a "flip kit" is. It relocates your factory rear suspension. As far as leaf springs. It will relocate them underneath your rear axle giving you a drop. 5in for 04-08. Not sure for other years since I said I was new to trucks....

I just looked them up, I was trying to be ez and cheap but I guess im just goin to have to drop the extra cash and get the leaf springs that drop it 3.I dont get a chance often to work on my truck so anything I do has to be done in a day so I guess the leaf springs 2inch shackles and 3 inch springs on the front could be done in a day and if im right I should get a 3/5 drop I hope

Number 1 guy on here is Tony @ DJM/Belltech Direct. He knows the happs and can hella help you out but he's hella busy. But there's also TheSuspensionSource on here. Call Chris there and she can walk you thru what you need. She's not pushy at all, lists you your options and lets you decide. Good peeps.

Just do your homework and you'll be good.

ok first of all rear leaf springs do not do. I lowered my truck over 15 years ago no issues. In front 3 inch springs you will need a alignment kit. In rear the leaf springs and shackles are more expensive then a shackle/hanger kit also oem leafs with shackles/hangers ride better then aftermarket leafs.

Here is my f150 lowered in 1998 (time goes by fast)
Front 3 inch belltech springs
front camber kit
rear 4 inch belltech shackles/hangers
front/rear belltech sp shocks
I sell the kit for $650 to your door and if you see it for less ill beat it.

285 35 22 ALL AROUND

Here is my drop and remember im on 285 35 22 front adn 285 45 22 rear. Rear tires are much taller.
