Lowered trucks. Trucks should be lifted - not lowered.

Especially 4x4s. Buy a 2wd version if you want to lower it.

Big rims & low profile tires. Leave them on the ricers. You need 37 inch tires that stick out past the fenders.

Truck bed caps. Buy an SUV, trucks are meant for hauling stuff.

To each his own. I've had both and don't drive a lowered truck because it is impractical for my needs. However, driving a lowered truck that handles great with a powerful V8 is a lot of fun and still more comfortable than a car because of the upright seating position and the cavernous cabin. Plus it can still haul more than a car.
That being said, I don't like the tiny import like tires in them. For me, I prefer more muscular sport truck tires.

I would never own a lowered truck but I appreciate the work that goes into them. Love the way they look but I'm a lifted truck guy. I have owned lifted 2&4WD. It boils down to whatever the owner wants!

Is that a limited front bumper and is that a traction bar bracket in the second picture or part of the drop components?

If it is traction bars. More info please!

Yes - thats a Harley (or Limited) front bumper. The bracket is the front spring shackle for the drop kit - not a traction bar. Not crazy about it hanging down like that, but it hasn't hit anything and its the only way to drop it and retain the pinion angle without re-positioniong and re-welding the spring brackets.

PS - Just being a smart-*** on the opening thread statements about lowered vs. lifted trucks. I agree - to each his own.
