Default pinion angle adjustment for 2 pc driveshafts

so i see bits and pieces in different threads and figured i'd start a thread just for this topic. where can we find a calculator to punch in the angles and figure out the adjustment needed? my rear end is currently sitting at 3.5* and driveshaft is at 1*. i'm trying to figure out how to get it at -2 as a final. is a carrier shim easier than a pinion shim at the rear end?
