I lowered my 2015 with belltech 3/4.5 kit. I'd like to go lower all around. Maybe 1" to 1.5" on all 4 corners. Anyone have any advice or done similar? I know I've seen a few 15+ lowered more. But I can't find any info as to what was used.
I actually am putting some dub baller 22s on with a 305/40 tire. But the overall size of the wheel and tire will be the same height as the stock setup.
I'll try those out then before I purchase more components. I spoke with a guy who has belltech struts combined with djm arms. Although he doesn't know the specifics but I'd guess it's around a 5" front drop.
I can tell you from experience the belltech struts don't hold up. they might be okay if the roads are smooth, but once you start encountering some rough pavement they'll eventually start leaking oil.
my truck sits as low as the one in the pic, and I'm using the 3" lowering control arms with shortened stock springs. it rides great, but there is a lot involved with getting enough tire clearance when you get that low without using the belltech struts (the belltechs limit travel...probably why they also start leaking oil)
mine is a 13 however and i'm not really familiar with how the late model trucks are and what it takes to create some wheel clearance once you get that low

The Dubs have a +30et soooo when you install them, the tires will be almost flush with the fenders. Put the wheels on 1st. If you go lower now you will find out the hard way that you should have put the wheels/tires on 1st.

A set of Belltech struts are only $100 so if they don't hold up they're not too expensive to replace. About how long would you say they last?
