Spend a few bucks eh? Always wondered what those fenders would look like lowered instead of raised.

Default recent appearance mods

I've sorted out all the performance mods, so I decided recently to start working on a few appearance mods, not including lowering, the latest rounds of appearance mods include the kmc slide wheels, blacked out trim in the head lights and tail lights, cal vu mirror installation and then today I spent all day claying and then polishing and sealing the paint. I also pulled off the dealer installed pin stripe and i'm trying to decide if I want to put any other type of striping on it, or leave it as is. Suggestions are welcome.

I like the cal vu mirrors except that they don't fold. They save about 8" in width compared to the old original mirrors (total width from mirror to mirror), so I can back the truck into the garage with out rolling down the window and folding up the driver's mirror. It won't be ideal when i'm towing the boat, but I think the improved aesthetics are worth it. I've been looking for a rear spoiler that attaches to the top of the tail gate, but haven't found anything suitable...j/k...sort of....

no, not a wing, just a spoiler lol

yes, the louvers are functional. I installed those shortly after the blower install.

Beltech lowering struts, maxtrac 3" springs in the front. DJM axle flip and nitro drop shocks in the back. 20x9 Craigslist specials with nitro 420s 265/50/20.
I need to notch and bring the front down about an inch and align.
Here's my question... is there anything besides buying better backspaced and offset wheels for the front that I can do to bring them in under the fender a little more?

Just dropped mine. 5.5 in the front and 6 in the rear. Used djm 3 inch drop arms, with belltec drop struts set at 2.5 drop. Djm flip kit with belltec drop shocks. Plan to find some nice 20s to finish it off.

Just got mine done. A big shout out to Tony for helping out. Went with 3" DJM arms in the front, and a Belltech 4" rear flip.
