Thanx man I love it. Would prob try to lower the rear another 1" if you are not hauling stuff. I haul stuff sometimes so I wanted to retain a bit of rake.

I have 2014 FX4 4x4 that I am considering lowering, my best friend talked me into it. I live in Alberta everyone lifts their truck and they look the same some big mud tires, some ugly black tacky rims a light bar to help the street lights and a loud exhaust. I am aware that for 14' they changed the UCA on these trucks, not looking to go crazy on the drop no more then a 2/4 drop and if possible would like to leave a slight rake (1" being ideal) what kits would you recommend? I looked at DJM there 2wd kit said you could use on 4wd did I read correctly? I apologize if I didn't get the terminology right I am trying to pick it up as I go.

They changed the lower control arm and mounting point for the strut on the '14. And yes, I believe their 2wd kit may also work on the 4wd. 2/4 will leave you only about 1/2" of rake. These trucks (in 4wd) typically have 2 1/2" of rake from the factory. Hope This helps

Not completely lowered yet, but here's how she sits now. Leveled in the rear on 26's. 3/5 djm coming soon. Eventually I'll push it to 4/6

Only Ford would change the design in the last year of a truck, that would still work, I don't want to get too crazy with a lower more of sport/street look. That truck that you showed in the picture was that just a 2" rear shackle? I like how that truck sits! Thank you for your help!
