Default 3/5 drop on 2015

I initially dropped this one 3/6. It constantly bottomed out!. I installed an additional leaf spring to bring it up 2". Then used shackles to lower it about 3/4". I like the way it sits now. I did pick up a pretty noticeable shudder after lowering the truck. I added 2 1/2 degree shims in the rear and that took care of the shudder. I'm thinking about installing some air ride to smooth out the ride. Any input? suggestions on products? I only have about 3" between the top of the axle and the frame (flip kit).

Thanks

Are you running stock sized tires?

Are you satisfied with the drop? I've got 305-50R20's and just want to get rid of an inch or two of wheel gap.

I love it and I'm glad I didn't go any lower. Yeah I'm running stock wheels with the stock tires and there is an inch or 2 gap from the tire and wheel well. Looking to eventually go with a set of 22's with a 40 profile tire which should fill it up nice.

just an FYI there is not a 40 series tire size and 22" wheel combo that will fill up a 2" wheel gap and still fit on an F150, especially a lowered one. to fill 2" of gap youre gonna need 4" taller tire to have it flush with the bottom of the fender, but that will likely rub, so split the difference and go 2" taller and that will fill 1" of gap.
so you're still looking for a 34" tall tire on a 22" rim. at that point your best options will be either a 275/55/22 or a 305/50/22

+1

Please post more pics and from further distance to show the entire truck. Not many lowered '15's yet so any pics you could add would be GREAT!
