I have the 1001sp. The rear is only a 4” drop. It comes with lift shackles for the front of the leaf spring. The drop the position of the caltrac quite a bit. Without it I’d be totally fine for clearance, but I don’t want the rear dropped anymore. I’m going to try and remove the lift shackle from the front and buy a lift shackle for the rear of the spring and see if the lift is still the same. I’m assuming it should be.

It’s the flipping worst. Went about 2 weeks then removed the front hanger. Going over driveway curbs or speed bumps you’d swear the rear end is getting ripped out. My truck is parked for the winter and that’s one of my winter projects. I’m actually doing a lift hanger on the rear leaf and going to stiffler bars. That should solve all clearance issues.

Another option is to raise the bars up one hole, (which would make it more parallel to the ground) and grind off the bottom of the Caltrax bracket. That sould give me 5-1/2" of clearance.

I did that. Through the years I’ve learned the more parallel you make the bars to the ground the better the bite. It did help but man it was still low. With the drop bracket in front I think I was closer to 3 1/2” of clearance.

WOW, 3-1/2" after you cut the bottom? Your drop was quite lower than mine apparently. Going to a suspension shop tomorrow, and have them check every thing out and align the wheels. Me and a friend did this drop kit and Caltrax in my garage.

Stiffler bars - they seem to offer only up to '14 trucks. Do these fit 15'+?
