I dont bash on any companys but I am more of a Chevy guy myself. Love the look of my ford but am hella pissed I didnt do my homework on the power rating. PATHETIC.

But I'm a family guy and it looks good, imo, and does the job so oh well.

I somewhat agree. Our model F150 is sexy. But I'm just as attracted to the sliverado, plus it has the power to match.

But if I'm not mistaken, our trucks (screws) have more room.

No probs man. I'm following your setup, simply because I have a BellTech 3/5 WAITING to be installed, probably next week. And I think I want to go 1" lower. Tony said that if I don't run the spacer in the front, and I don't use the lift shackle in the back, that I'll be able to go that 1" lower all around (making it a 4/6 drop), but I don't want to sacrifice TOO MUCH ride quality. Your thoughts bro??

bagging a f150 is easy...having it layed out..isn't.
New control arms and needed of raised upper for any tire bigger then 29" (stock 17")
Plus crossmember modification if really want to lay flat.

Chevy's and GM are way easier and plenty of complete bolt-on kit.

Agreed. Having a 5.5 was too intense, for me at least. It looked good, but imo it looks just as good raised an inch to a 4.5, and that extra inch of clearance made a huge diff. With the set up that i had, 5.5's ride was too harsh. 4 5 rides alot smoother.

Scared to drive with a 5.5 drop?

I'm running struts at 1.5 drop, belltech spindles, and 3.5 djm arms.. If I sit a passenger my truck scrapes the inside of the fender the whole time, no inner liners.

And I love driving it everyday, it's my daily

Tire clearance aint the problem. Size in my sig. It rode ok in town and if thats all i did i'd prolly leave it at that. But i'm taking my fam in this truck for vacation from CenCal to south Tx and i dont want to risk them or my truck with the 1.25in of clearance under my cross member. I'm young enough to think it looks cool but old enough to not wanna risk it.

Bad @$$ truck, btw.
