Anyone ever ran a 1001sp plus kept 2' lowering shackles. Just wondering stance, how bad it bottoms, etc. Any infor is appreciated. Also i am running Ford Stock 20's with 275-55-20.

The 1001sp comes with two hangers that adjust the height of the leaf spring after the flip kit is done to lift the truck from where the flip would land you on stock hangers. A 1.5 inch lift at the front of the leaf and a 1 inch lift at the rear of the leaf which is where your 2 inch lowering shackle currently is. Using the front 1.5 inch lifting shackle and the rear two inch lowering shackle would net a 6 inch drop but the leaf would be at a dramatically different angle than intended by the factory and would require some very serious pinion angle adjustment to prevent driveline vibration. Not using the front 1.5 inch lifting shackle but using the rear one inch lifting shackle will net you a 5.5 inch drop as it is designed in the 1000sp kit and only require a slight pinion angle adjustment. Using no lift shackle front or rear will net you a 6.5 inch rear drop and fully maintain the intended leaf spring placement and pinion angle but will leave the axle very close to the frame making frame strikes a frequent occurrence without either a c notch or airbags(which will also lift the rear)
