? do you think there's any advantage to running re arched leafs
to drop back or flip kit .I have 2018 f150 rcsb i was looking at friends 08 and they sell drop leafs for it and it appears almost the same set up as mine as far as hangers and such i haven't measured length yet ,what you think would it work ,my lightning from factory were leaf on top rather than flipped and lowered from factory

NORCAL SS (Tony) - I have a 2011 F150 Scab 2WD 3.5 EcoBoost that I have the 3/5 DJM front and rear lowering kits installed with Bilstein front struts and rear Shocks. (Had to have Bilstein Custom Valve some of their Short Shocks for the rear) Truck rides absolutely wonderful with these shocks on. I have also installed the “Hellwig” rear sway bar.
However, when driving on the freeway at 70 MPH and going over transitions from the Road to a Bridge where the road bed has subsided a bit and produced a small rise at the Bridge, the rear axel will be slapped up and hit the bump stops. The top of the axel when in the resting position is about 2.5 inches below the bottom of the Frame Rail / DJM Bump Stops above.
I was thinking of purchasing the Air Lift “SlamAir” Rear Axle Air Helper Springs for Lowered Trucks - 2011 F150 2WD part # 59210, to resolve this issue and also at the same time be able to adjust the rear ride height when I load the Bed up hauling different things.
The Truck when I bought it already had an Air Compressor system installed with an On/Off Switch, Air Pressure Gauge, and an Air Bleed Valve on a small panel below the Steering Column. So I can conveniently adjust the rear ride height while driving.
What do you think of this solution and can I purchase the Air Lift "SlamAir" bag system from you?
Tony, thank you for taking your time to read my request.
