I only want to drop the rear to level it out. I want to maintain the same ride/towing ability if possible. I don't tow anything heavy, I'd say a 5k boat is the heaviest I regularly tow. Thanks.
1) meaure the truck from ground to fenderlip all around
2) check to see if you have the lifting block between axle and leaf springs

tell me those 2 things i can dial it in fully for you

2013 FX2
2wd on 22's
Want to go 3/5 most likely
No specific budget
Worried about ride quality mainly, wondering what a good setup would be with belltech or if I were to go with djm. Also if you have an opinion on groundforce drop kits, I'd like to hear what you think

after all the years doin install and sales belltech and djm by far best bet.

few questions

1) measure the truck from ground to fenderlip all around
2) check to see if there is a lifting block in rear
3) if there is how thick it is?

That being said you can get a 2 inch drop shackle and just cut it out a little to fit the leaf spring and put it on the lower hole if it hits
Yo Tony i did what you said i went with a 1in drop shackle, now my problem is that any lower then 1in drop I will need to cut the frame, is there some type of Frame reinforcement I can buy like they have in the 4/6 drop kit for the 97-03 trucks??? and the dude working on my truck also said that the current shocks that im running wont work cause they will also be to long. Is there an adjustable shock i can use? im using the Calmax 22IN shock that they have on there site there pretty noisey and i dont mind buying something better, My truck is an 04 if you forgot

I have the belltech sp shocks. they are a better ride and 130 shipped

now if you have a flip kit the flip with stock shackle is 6 inch drop. a lifting shaxkle makes it 5 inch. if you did the flip with the 1 inch drop shackle thats a 7 inch drop. are you sure you did a lowering 1 inch shackle or lifting 1 inch shackle?

sorry I forgot how low you were trying to get?

yeah im running the DJM flip Kit with the 1 IN lifting shackle, but i hate the way it looks, The 1 IN drop shackle that i bought i could not put on cause id have to notch the frame. Its 2 IN higher in the rear and the rake is retarded, ill try with the stock shackle and see how that works ill let you know about those shocks. Theres a gap in the rear well that i can fit my fist threw its really an eye sore all im really trying to do is level the rear out.. I only have an inch and a half of clearance before the frame hits the axle
