Hey Norcal, I remember you from the Trailblazer days!

Just need you to answer below questions so I can give you the best answer.
1) what year truck?-- 2013
2) 2wd or 4wd?-- 4wd
3) how low do you want to go?- 2F/4R
4) budget you want to be in?- Doesn't matter
5) belltech or djm item or both doesn't matter.- Doesn't matter

I have a 2013 4x4 Limited Eco that belonged to my late Father. IMO, with the stock 22" wheels, it just looks all wrong at stock height. I would like to lower and improve the handling. I don't want anything drastic that starts leading to other issues (ride problems, alignment or tire wear issues, etc). I just want to do a respectable drop to improve the look. There are so many kits and opinions from searching threads that I'm more confused now! I like the Belltech kit with shocks/struts included. I've read the H&R is good too along with Ground Force.

Here's the kits I'm considering now:

H&R 51618 (possibly adding Bilstein shocks/struts)--**EDIT- Just heard this Kit is Discontinued so that narrows my choices*
Belltech 978SP (what about front springs though?)
Ground Force 9987 (also possibly adding Bilstein shocks/struts)

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Steve

The truck now:

Right now, with a full fuel tank, it's 37" F and just a tad under 39" rear (about 38 7/8") Stock 22" and stock size tires

since the rear is 4x4 there is a block. so 4 inch drop will be a 5.25 actaully

that being said if you did the rear 3 inch kit (shackles and block removal) would bring it to about 35.75 let say and front you can do 1.5 to bring it to 35.5

Yeah, I would only want around 4" total rear drop. IIRC, the Ground Force kit claims 1.5"F & 3" R.

OK, is that their kit that has front struts also? What's the deal with the pinion shim? I thought that was only on 2wd regular cabs?

Thanks
