Let me know what you think of the VAS coilover system. I'm looking to do the same setup on my truck.

I will only be running the coil overs in the front. Due to staying spring over in the rear Vikings do not come in that length. I went Fox 2.0 in the rear.

Sorry was logged out and didnt get notifications. Im going with Vas. They have the performance kit and the street kit. Performance kit comes with the Viking rear shocks & shock relocation, the street cat comes with BilStein shocks. Of course both have the coil overs upfront.
Street kit is $1145, performance Is $1395. Neither of those prices include traction bars. Tbey are both 3/5 drops. Vas traction bars can be added to either kit.
At this point my Truck is 40” rear hight and 36 1/2 front. I can do a update when its installed.
My other truck has the Belltech 3.5/5.5. A handful of people that I know had a strut snap. It destroyed brake lines, fender wells and everything. That’s why I’ve decided not to go with struts.
I also considered IHC 4/6 A-Arms however I personally know people with the old ones and the new ones that have the improved bushings and they’re causing a lot of problems period.
Here is the June 10th build I ordered in March. Came in last week of June.
2wd, 5.0, 3.55’s.

Thanks
Belltech had things wrapped up for years but VAS has taken over bigtime. They have a street kit now that is around the same price as the Belltower coilover kit. However VAS is just superior IMO. I have Belltech on my other generation... their stuff just doesnt last as far as im concerned and my trucks never see a winter. Also I’ve personally seen their aluminum struts snap at the weld. I’ve mentioned this before and there’s no way I’m gonna have my family in a vehicle going around an exit ramp and have the whole wheel blow up through the fender-well destroying brake lines and all no matter how small the odds are. Yes that can happen with anything, however like I said it’s happened several times with the belltech drop struts and they never changed a thing. On top of that their customer service sucks.

i didn't have any luck with the belltech struts. I had two of them that leaked all the oil out so I finally ditched them for dropped a arms. I sold some take off parts to a guy that also broke his belltech struts on rough pavement.

My 17 is set up with DJM arms and Bilstein 5100s on the front for a 3” drop. I had 2 additional ring lands cut in case I wanted to go lower. I don’t. In the rear I used a Belltech 4” flip kit with front 5100s for a Bronco, Toyota or Nissan pickup. The reason I went 4 was to still be able to use the truck as a truck. When I measured everything up prior to ordering a 5”+ kit would put the axle way to close to the bump stops to have any king of ride quality with a load in the bed. With the rear 5100s almost all of the harsh one wheel hit that Fords have always been notorious for is almost all gone. A friend of mine who has lowered every thing he has ever owned drove it right after completion and was amazed at the ride quality. Yes, it is every bit as god as stock but with out the rear “tramp” and much better dampening.
