This is a 4X4 with a 2WD Belltech Kit. The front is the factory 4X4 coils on the belltech 2WD struts set to the lowest setting. The rear is a flip kit with the block removed.

Hi Mark, the spindles won't fit because the holes for the CV's won't line up. We would have had to go with only like 1" of drop to get it to work and we just do not see enough demand for 4wd lowering kits.

Has anybody successfully lowered a 2017+ 4x4 truck? if so, please PM me so I can get some details. Every path I take isnt working, This wont fit, you need to swap out the drive shaft, etc...... super frustrating. 2016 and older both 4WD and 2WD there's examples in this forum. Something happened parts wise with the 2017+ trucks. HELP!

Thanks

This is exactly why I changed plans and went with a leveled mall crawler for now, and I also have to deal with heavy snow fall. Every option I found hit a road block or had extreme CV joint angles, and in my case on a RCSB you had to deal with perhaps the need to shorten the drive shaft.

I don't know how low you want to go but you might look at what parts Shelby/Tuscany sourced for the Super Snake street truck if its low enough. I think it was just Beltech, but I'm not 100% sure.

Mine is a 16 but there are no differences 15+ trucks, for the best ride and proven setup do mine: Djm arms, 2wd struts good for a 4" drop up front, djm flip kit should get u at 5-6" out back. You can go lower like me by swapping coils up front and adding shackles out back, and dont be afraid of cv angles there no different then lifted trucks except in the opposite direction if my truck can take dry pavement 4k rpm launches in 4hi with out any problems you wont have any issues. Now for driveshaft i drove for like 6 months with stock driveshaft and that includes hard launches and so but i would never go over 100-110 and i never drove fast on bumpy roads etc.. and never had any issues. But getting a shorter high speed balanced driveshaft was worth it especially considering how inexpensive they are and the added safety of knowing it wont grenade if you ever go over 120, I also have a c-notch out back so it wont bottom out for me it was a must since i didn't want to be messing with helper bags or bottoming out on hard bumps.

I started typing a response like yours, but stopped half way through. Something along the lines of you can lead a horse to water, but you cant make it drink.

Guys,
I've never lowered a truck and just bought a '18 F140 crewcab 4x4 limited. I only want a 2-3" front drop and a flat ride height front to back. I tow a 6k lb trailer and live in colorado (drive it in the winter).

So its sounds like the best front kit is the Belltech adjustable struts? What about in the rear? The Belltech flip kit or the Maxtrac kit? I don't want to cut anything. I'm guessing the Belltech rear shocks work nicely with the front Belltech struts? Or save money and by the Maxtrac shocks with their flip kit? Thanks

Clay
