Looks good but this thread is about the 1001SP kit, which is the 2/4 drop. You have the 1000SP.

First time poster, long time lurker since my 08 STX days. Just got this installed over the weekend and while I'm beat and sore, I do have to say the kit is really nice and really well put together. The install went very smoothly and I like how they give you just enough parts to work with. No extra bolts, screws or washers here so don't lose em. lol

It got late so I don't have any after pics but I'll post up what I do have. I like to take pics so enjoy. They were taken during the process so any loose bolts or missing screws you see was fixed during the final check over. Bad news is I am getting the 20-30 vibration that others have mentioned (albeit not too bad) but will post up in the other 1001SP vibration thread on that.

Before the I started on the front.

I was so beat and tired that this is the only pic I got of the front. I've done this so many times on my other Mustangs and trucks, that I just wanted to get it over with. lol Oh and screw those ABS sensors. They don't tell you to but I unclipped and disconnected mine because they were gonna break if I didn't while I was dropping the knuckle.

RedfireV8, can you post some shots of your truck that are a little more of the side? Thanks and it looks great!

Also, this is for everyone, seems like if I do go with the 1001SP kit, go ahead and install some 6 degree shims with the kit? I have read so many reviews that at least 5 degree shims are needed and 6 degrees is the cure for the 20-30 mph vibration?

I haven't heard of anyone doing a 6 degree shim, but I haven't done much searching about it lately and I think I'm the only one with a 5 degree. It's still on my to-do list to try and sort this out better and get rid of the last of the vibration.

I'll have to get some side shots for yall when I get the chance. I actually returned my 6 degree shims and got the 4 degree because I was afraid that it may be too much in the other direction. I need to get it installed soon though and report back on my findings. I do find it funny that Belltech makes every degree but the 5 degree shim. I wonder why that is? Almost like they know something they're not tell us... lol

Well I had a local shop do the install, all BellTech. I've taken it on a 3k rode trip, other than some rough bumps, I'm very happy. Will check with Air-Lift and see if I can get a mount kit for the 1k bag system, to take the bumps out.

I recently purchased and installed the Belltech 1000sp kit for my 2017 XL Crew Cab 5.5' bed. Everything went great for the rear but the front did not lower. I feel like I'm missing something. Either drop spindles or control arms? Just replacing the strut did not lower the truck at all. I noticed the 1001sp kit comes with new spindles. Would you be able to help me out?

The difference between the 1000SP and 1001SP kits are the extra hangers and shackles for the rear so that that the 1001SP only drops 4" instead of almost 6" like the 1000SP. BellTech doesn't make any spindles or control arms for our trucks, although MaxTrac does have a 2" drop spindle. Are you sure you installed the right amount of spacer rings on the front struts before putting your spring perches on? They are made to allow you to set them from -3" to +1" if i recall, and it all depends on how many and what thickness of rings you install.
