2016 F150 Crewcab Short Bed belltech 1001SP Lowering Kit
#4
I ruled out Belltech struts because I do not like lowering and limiting suspension travel with the strut. The DJM arms keep the strut shock piston centered in the shock body like the manufacturer designed the front struts to operate. The bottoming is still controlled by the bump stop on the shock and the body. I myself will be installing my modified Bilstein 24-25322 struts, extra snap ring grooves, and DJM arms sometime this coming week. I will post pictures of the finished product along with some installation pictures.

Don't waste your money!!! The kit lowered the front 2", however the rear only 1", the shocks they sent were to big, the stock were a better fit. The installer didn't use them. Belltech would not take the shocks back and give me a refund or credit, they said remove the whole kit and send it back for a full refund!!!! Run fast and find a different source!!!!

Here's my 1001SP kit installed with the front at the 2" setting. (I got just over 2" up front and just under 4" in the rear)

Is your truck level. It looks like the back is a hair lower then the front?

Danlong, who did your install, I’ll drive up to Gainesville! Or have my shop call and find out what they did wrong. I know it’s holiday season, so please get back to me when you can. Merry Christmas
