That is where mine was rubbing too. I popped in air bags and lifted my *** end an inch and no more rubbing. My guess is it broke when you hit a bump and the shaft hit the crossmember and had no where else to go. If you had stock blocks, some trucks do, your back end is a 6 inch drop like mine was. I will be having some new springs built to lift the back the inch without needing to need the bags all the time. I am also going to get someone to rebuild the crossmember, notch or higher, whatever works. Mine is a supercab, so one piece driveshaft as well.
Belltech 3/5 before add a leaf. Rode rough and drags, also sits on Bump stops
After the add-a-leafs, Rides better and does not hit bump stops anymore

Curious if any of you 2015+ Supercab guys that are 4X4 are having any driveshaft issues? I'm looking at doing the Crown 3" front springs and 4" rear flip kit. I know that since it's got the block the 5" kit actually becomes a 6" drop, so gonna utilize the 4" for a 5" total drop. Tired of this look

Anybody know how much drop putting 2wd struts on a 4wd will get me? Looking for an alternative to the bell tech struts that don't seem to be lasting. Might try a drop coil and 2wd bilstein 5100s if it will get me the adjustability I want.

From the information I have found while looking into this....going to an oem 2wd strut will net approx. 1-1/4" drop. The problem with using say a blisten strut is you still need the coil perch from an oem 2wd strut to achieve the drop. This perch is all that determines the ride height of 2wd to 4wd. The perch is the ring on the strut which is required to be transferred to most aftermarket struts when being installed.
