Well, fwiw, I personally think a 285/45/22 is a bit to tall. I would do a 285/40/22
the difference in diameter between the 2 is 31" for the 40 series, 32.1" for the 45 series.
For comparison, that 45 series that your looking at is nearly as tall as my 35 series 24" tires.... See my pic a few posts up.

With the 285/45/22 the tire will be close to the front fender with a full 3" drop. Going to a 40 series with give you an inch less dia, which is about a half inch more room from the fender.

Yeah I don't think 1" is gonna make a big difference since it will only be 1/2" on top. Go-on3 is running 305's(not sure 40's or 45's) which is close to the same height as mine.

May go down a size when these wear out but I got a good deal on this setup. My buddy had them on his truck but stepped up to a 250.

I just saw some close up pics of your truck on another thread and it looks like you have less than a inch of fender gap in the front and you don't rub ?

Love to hear some opinions on how I can get my truck lower , as of now I have my 2015 fx4 for sport on 26x10 wheels with 305/30/26 tires , I do get a tiny rub once in a blue moon while turning and hitting a good size driveway bump , i did remove the rear 1 inch block and bought crown rear shackles to lower the back to match the front

What is the best 2-4 kit that is a real 2-4 drop. It looks like the 2-4 kits I've seen so far the back is a Hair lower. Thanks

Update. Kit has been installed for over a month now and no rubbing at all.
