Default DJM or Belltech/Arms or struts

Who has lowered with the DJM LCA's and then changed to Belltech struts, or the other way around? I've heard you get steering shake with the arms. Then I've read about the BT struts breaking or not lowering a full 3". My plan was to use the LCA's this time instead of Crown's coils, but I'm not 100% sure that I want the LCA's or the struts.

I'd hate to drop that money on the arms and then hate them. For the record I've ran the BT struts on a Chevy set at 2" and had no problems.

I put belltech struts on the from on my '13. Had them on for 40,000miles with no issue. I only pulled enough spacers for 2" drop and it dropped the front 2 1/4". When I lower my '16 Ill be going with belltech again.

No bump steer? That was always a complaint with the GM guys running them.

here's a write up of my experience with belltech struts and lowering control arms. Kinda long, but might be a worthwhile read, as it addresses your thoughts

Thanks, I think I'm pretty settled on the DJM arms and then one day when money allows run the Belltech 09-13 adjustable coilovers. I plan to use the Crown flip kit I have without the add-a-leaf and add 1 inch shackles. Eventually I may take it down to a 4/6 but don't want to be dragging traction bars all over the place.

I posted pics of my vas bars in another thread. My tires are 32" tall and I have about 4.5 inches of ground clearance with them. These are the low profile bars that VAS makes for the trucks with flip kits. They've cause absolutely no issues to date, and I daily drive my truck. I have more issues in front then in back.

Gotcha, I think I'll be good with them. I've heard of those bars but haven't actually seen a set.
