F150 SUSPENSION GURU
Ok pretty much wanting to do what this guys f-150 looks like, but a few differences ( after i get back from afganistan) I'm lookin at a 3/5 drop by djm, but I have no idea what sort of room that will leave me for rim and tire size. Can any body please help me out? ( long time raised fan, but new to the whole street truck scene)
im good friends with mike/jeff/mark at djm so can help you out. if you do the 3/5 drop what size wheels are you looking at?

IIRC when you lower the truck measure on a good solid flat surface from the ground up to the top lip of the fender. This will give you an idea of how big of a diameter you can go and still turn. It's not going to be precise but it'll give you a starting point to look

I would like to set it on some 20's i cant really measure right now, due to the fact im deyployed to afganistan, and the truck is with a good friend who is nice enough to take care of it to me. but when it comes to tires, what do all the numbers mean as well? because like i said when it comes to tires, im bout as lost as can be, and with getting diffrent tires for a custom truck, cant always go off of what mom/dad or friends say anymore.
Set a size wheel your after and then we can help from there. Usually a 22 will fit on a super low profile a 20 looks good and will give you a pretty good sidewall so decide on the wheel then we can help you get an idea of tire size.
