Anyone wanna help a disabled guy (kidney disease) find a donor 4.6l 2v to swap into a pristine 99 F-150? I plan to bench and rebuild my stock engine with forged internals... or find a good donor block to rebuild.

Currently she eats about a quart of oil every 1,000 miles (which I'm told isn't uncommon), and though I've had no loss of power or issues with smog in CA... well, it's likely worn rings, and I'm not having that. She's 25 years old, and in becoming a "Modern Classic" this year I'd like to treat her right (as I do with all my girls) and go through the drivetrain.

Any local leads (Sonoma County, Ca) or donor blocks anyone is willing to part with for cheap (perhaps for the cost of shipping) drop me a line.

UPDATE: 7/30/24 - For reasons unbeknownst to me, the engine hasn't eaten a drop of oil since the last oil change. I'm gonna count my blessings... perhaps it's divine intervention.
