Buying a used truck

Honestly with those prices i would look out of state to buy a truck. Even if it means driving 12 hours to pick it up

Good news about the Screws is the hood and bedsides are fiberglass, so they'll never rust.
That price came straight from KBB. My 01 books for nearly $9k, but I got it for just under $6k. It had a few bugs that needed attention such as interior lights not working (30 minute fix), rusted rockers/cab corners (not fixed yet), front brakes (less than $50.00 and an hour fix), broken rear taillight ($30.00 and 5 minute fix), needed tires (four GOOD used Coopers for $140.00 installed), and the receiver was rusted into the hitch (2 hours, a can of PB Blaster, and a 12lb sledge fix). I got a great deal on it for this area. A 4wd around here is astronomically priced.

Actually, I just punched in a random city (Bushnell, IL 61422), and the book for the truck posted by the OP is $14,752.00. That's almost the same as it is here.

I'm an 2hrs northeast from there. That town is out in the sticks. Nada.com listed truck for 13,900. So the dealer is way high.
