Manual transmission
The truck recently started intermittently overheating. I replaced the thermostat and coolant reservoir, but it is now showing the symptoms of a bad head gasket.
In my opinion, it's not worth the hassle of replacing a head gasket on a 354k mile block. For me personally, it's also not worth engine swapping a truck this old. I'd rather buy a 2019 Tacoma...
The transmission is smooth and the truck drives straight.
This past year, I put 9k miles on it and towed two cars long-distance with it.
It drips oil on occasion and usually requires 1 quart of oil every 1k miles.
There is a bit of rust in the usual places, but it has been a southern car its whole life.
The differential seal is seeping but not leaking.
It has a Magnaflow Rumble muffler.
It needs tires immediately.
Clean title.
Asking $800 firm (as is), I can lower the price depending on the parts I take off.
The local scrap yard said they'll give me $400 for the truck.
My neighbor said he'll give me $200 for the bed shell.
The bull bar and trailer hitch can be transferred to a future truck and both are worth $200 to me.
