Looking for a working cluster for a 2006 King Ranch. I have the dreaded cracked circuit board; have tried resoldering the connector joints with no luck. Have tried local junkyards, no dice. Ebay is empty (unless you have anything BUT a KR). There are a handful of repair centers out there, so I could get mine repaired, but I thought I'd try here first. Repair is anywhere between $120 and $180, including shipping, with a guarantee and warranty, just for comparison...

 

I did a quick search on ebay and it looked like you could a KR cluster, from rebuilder for approx same price as you mentioned for repair. Regardless of repair or purchasing new-used unit, i'd probably elect to get one from one of the experienced shops that will both guarantee it AND ensure it is setup properly for your truck and set mileage to match your current actual mileage.
