Not 100% sure, but probably painting. Might even just put it on until I get around to painting since I have a black truck too.

Just an FYI the fx2 valance only fits on 06-08 the 04-05 has a different mounting setup. Might want to look into that prior to shipping. I have heard of the fx2 fitting 04-05 but not the other way around.

I have a 08 fx2 valance you can have for $10 plus whatever it costs to ship.
