Question 2004 rebuilt engine value.

i have an 2004 f-150 w/ 122k miles it has a rod knocking so i am going to get the engine replaced with a remanufactured engine or a new from ford engine, either way basically zero miles on the engine. I was wondering how much i could get for such a truck. it is the new body style (extended cab) and has the lariat and off road package. body and interior in pretty good shape. it has a bunch of extras too like wheels/tires/leveling kit/tint/and bull bar w KC's.

You have 4 choices 1st used engine from salvage yard cheapest but least Warrenty 2nd rebuild it your self if you have the knowledge and tools 3rd reman engine short block [cheaper] or long block [better] 4th new crate engine [best] if your fixing the truck to sell it go with salvage engine as you will never recoupe the cost of the other options. if you plan to keep and drive it then your check book and skills should be your guide . your looking at $500 to $5000 depending on choice
