NJ--2004 Ford F-150 Supercab/Saleen supercharger/GT aluminum longblock

2004 Ford F-150 XLT Supercab—Dark Torreador Red
Mileage—91,750

The truck started out its life as a 2004 F-150 XLT. I am the original owner. It was purchased in January 2005 as a leftover from Fullerton Ford. I have all the original dealer documentation from when I bought the truck including the window sticker.

After the warranty was up three years later, it started its transformation into what it has become today. I brought the truck to JDM Engineering in Freehold NJ to do all of the work. I have all the documentation from everything that was done. Listed below is a detailed breakdown of most of the major work performed. All fluids and regular maintenance has always been performed on or ahead of schedule. I have all the documentation to prove that as well. I am meticulous with maintenance on all my vehicles.

After the work done by JDM Engineering in December of 2008, the truck was only driven on nice days and was garage kept at my house. It rarely saw rain and never saw snow. I had a commuter car that was driven almost all the time. It wasn’t until 2012 that the truck became a daily driver again for me. The mileage from all documentation reflects that.

The original break in dyno tune slip is below. After the break in tune I still kept the truck tuned down for better street drivability. The last time I had the truck at JDM was January 2015 and the truck is tuned somewhere around 550 horsepower/550 torque. I don’t have an exact number because the truck was road tuned. You could easily have the truck tuned up and maxed out if you wanted to. The motor is built for 1000 horsepower.

The reason I am selling the truck now is that I was unfortunately injured at work recently and can no longer enjoy the truck anymore due to the surgeries I have had, will have, and possibly need in the future. My wife won’t drive the truck at all either, so the time has come that I must regretfully sell it. Keeping it is just not an option anymore.

I know that I will not get anything close to the amount of money spent building it up over the years. Taking KBB and the modifications into consideration, my asking price is $25,000 or best offer. Mileage may go up slightly as I do drive it still sometimes (very rarely) and the price will reflect that. I also have numerous extra parts that you would also get if I get close to my asking price.

Please feel to make an offer, but don’t try and lowball or criticize my price. Please keep your negative comments off of my for sale advertisement. I already know all about how you don’t get back the value of modifications done to a vehicle having owned and sold a few performance vehicles already.

With all that said, however, you could easily buy this truck and part it out if you wanted and probably get close to double my asking price. The aluminum block alone is worth about $10,000. The aluminum block is the same one used in the Ford GT supercar and is very rare. Ford does not make these aluminum blocks anymore. I know they are popular among the Lightning truck community as well as the GT 500 guys for the horsepower it is rated to hold reliably. There are people pushing upwards of 1400 horsepower through these blocks.

So, again, please just look around on the Internet at the prices of this motor before you criticize my asking price. I have all the documentation and receipts for everything done.

The truck is available to be seen or driven. Sorry but there will be no joyrides or tire kickers. Proof of funds to purchase the truck will be needed before a test drive. I will accept cash or certified bank check for purchase. I would request that with a certified bank check we go to my bank (ten minutes away) just to verify proof of funds that the check is legitimate. Sorry, no personal checks or payment plans. The truck is being sold AS IS, with no expressed, implied or consented warranty.

Thanks for looking at my ad and please ask any questions you may have. My email is reinhart-trahnier@msn.com if you have any questions.
