Did this in my Explorer a few years ago, then the F150 last summer. Sure is interesting to see the amount that it stretches over 10 years (can be said about numerous things).

Zip ties work good for it, takes out the play. Where are some of the guys that said they could feel a noticeable power increase when they swapped mufflers or did the gotts mod?? I bet they'd feel 50hp doing this mod.

LOL, I did the Gott's mod and didn't feel one bit of a difference at all.

Why not just get a new throttle cable?

Has nothing to do with a sensor. Idk what happened to yours but lifting up on the gas pedal that's drooping won't mess up a sensor.

Well would u rather spend the time and money to buy replace the throttle cable are spend maybe 2 bucks on zip ties and/or fishing weights and 2 mins putting them on. I would just crimp a fishing weight on myself which I will be doing tomorrow) lol . Everyone does things different tho

Wow. Just got back from driving it. What a huge difference! All it took was two jumbo zip ties. Night and day difference though.
