With that being said, the magic eraser is meant to be used wet at all times and with little pressure while doing the job. Warning - the harder you press the more potential scratches you may incur, just a warning.

I can't find anything about using it on plastic trim (except a couple references to removing wax "stains"), but may give this a try on my steering wheel.

really the hard plastic pieces it works on best like the bumper steps. The other pieces not so much. Using it on the steering wheel , it comes out amazing
