Zerex G05 Coolant ok for 2000 5.4?
 

Since I do not have any history on the truck I recently purchased, I figured I would knock out some maintenance items. I was looking to do a coolant flush.

In the owners manual it mentioned G05 coolant. Did anyone use the Zerex G05 coolant during their change? The bottle says it is Ford trucks after 2003 I believe. It seems like a clear color versus green or orange.

Just use the universal stuff. It's cheaper and will work just as good.

No need for the gold coolant.
