Well, its only money.
Be thankful your OK. Thats whats most important.

A friend of my daughters , 21, rolled truck several times a few weeks ago after running off road. He had severe brain damage and didnt make it. Left wife and small kids . very tragic.

I'm glad you're OK, sorry about your truck.

basically he was driving his mom's truck. And apparently their insurance made the guy that hit me sign a paper saying that he is not insured on the truck and can not drive it. So as of right now I'm getting $0 for insurance. They told us the best thing to do is sue at this point....

Don't you have uninsured motorists with your liability insurance? We are required to have it with ours. I have mine boosted to replacement value on the UIM part. We have so many people running around without insurance. It only cost me $23 a year combined for all 4 of my vehicles.

Make sure that you ha e proof of that signed document. If they did sign it, then the guy either "stole" the moms truck or she willingly let him drive it without insurance covereage, which is against the law. Sounds like mother AND son could be liable for any damages.

Impressive how the truck held up. Glad you were able to get out as well. Sounds like the driver and mom are pulling some shady stuff. Cowards

Sadly a lawyer at this point is probably going to be your best bet. At least talk to one and get an idea if you'll get anywhere. Most will do a free consultation.
