Wipers

What do y'all recommend for a good wiper?

me1234 12-24-2013 04:42 PM

Bosch Icons

Autoho or Andvance brands. Trico if you're feeling froggy. There is absolutely no reason in the world to spend $40 on a pair of wipers.

Wax/polish & treat your windows and change your cheaper wipers more often.

See changing cheaper blades more often just ads to the same cost anyway.

I used to use the $40 wipers and Istill have to change them out about as often. Maybe twice a year instead of 3x a year. It's only a one year warranty if you have your receipt.

We used to carry these at work and now we don't.

I've never personally used bosch icons. But know 20+ people who recommend them. I plan on getting them my next install though. Why do you guys replace your blades so often? I've had my current rain xs on for 2 years now(hence why i haven't had a chance to try the Boschs yet. ), And had my previous ones that came with the truck for a year. My blades don't streak or anything and i have to use mine year round.

I get the Valvoline aqua blades when they are on sale. Usually cost $10 for 2 instead of $18 each.

Have had a brand new set in the closet for over a year now. Waiting for my current ones to start streaking.
