...but I think it's the notorious GEM module. My pump has been sporadic for years and I am finally getting around to it. The pump tests fine when I hotwire the relay line to send it the juice. The relay won't work, tried others but it looks like the ground is taken care of by the GEM from what I can find on schematics.

I'd like to bypass it and don't have a good wiring diagram, anyone have a clue? My other option is to just put in a push button switch and power the thing directly. I kinda don't like those kinds of fixes but will do it if I can't figure out how to get it working with the stock setup.
