Default Will 2004 seats fit in a 97 scab

The seats are out of a 2004 f150 and I was considering buying if they will fit my 97 f-150 without to much modification. All info is greatly appreciated.

IIRC they just drilled some new holes on the tracks and it bolted up?

I think I'm gonna take a chance on them. 250 for the complete set, not bad imo.

Didn't someone here do this swap recently? Could have sworn they did and it was a fairly easy swap.

I thought so too. But I could not find the thread. I don't want to do a lot of cutting and welding. I don't think they will bolt right. Anyone know if the tracks unscrew from the base of the seat?

Yes they fit. There is only one place where something like a washer or similar needs to be added or drilled, but all in all they are pretty much a plug and play with the exception of the inner front mounts on either side. 2009 up is the ones that are hard to fit. 2004-08 is a very nice upgrade. Good luck.

Note: The seats in the picture are backwards (right on the left etc.)
