Default Wierd Electrical Issue

So I unlocked my truck to bring my daughter to school. The truck is off but yet the A/C was running. Wierd right?! Well I start the truck and run through all my electronic and everything is functioning properly. I put the truck in drive and the radio turns off. I immediately put it back into park and it turns back on. Guess it's something I can deal with for now, but I've never had an issue like this before.

A/C can not run unless the motor is running...you must of meant the blower motor was running. short somewhere but, like mentioned above most likely a GEM.

You're correct, the blower was running. I have a small leak in my windshield. I did some digging and I've found that this happen to a few people. The leak is apparently causing a grounding issue from what I've read. Guess it's time to have the windshield replaced, then I'll fix the grounding issue.

I'll confirm that the blower motor runs when the GEM is wet. I've ridden that horse a couple of times. It will eventually get to where it tries to start itself, which will make you want to call in a Priest. Damn thing gets all possessed.

Battery is only a year old. But everything seemed fine today since it had time to dry out.
