Heh, that's your Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. Not the weight of your truck.

The GVWR is the weight of your truck + Max Payload capacity. In other words that is the heaviest your truck can weigh when loaded down and not fall apart.

Gross weight is (Truck empty wet weight + Max Payload

So say you have a payload capacity of 1500lbs. That means that your truck weight would be 7700 - 1500 = 5200lbs

Idk what your payload is just throwing out a number.

Basically when you are loading cargo in your truck your total weight should not exceed that number.

Something is wrong if a 150 weighs 4 tons... heh heh. Either way, maybe this site will be of some help.

Supercab and supercrew same frame.

Supercrew bed, and step side bed fiberglass

Straight side bed 6.5 (metal) is lighter than step side bed 6.5 (fiberglass)

There's a few facts for the interested...

I have more, but I forgot what we were talking about honestly, damn bud light platinum!

Im fairly certain most Gen 10 F150's weight in below 4800lbs. The 7700 F250 LD only weights 5100.

Most half tons have a payload of around 1500 or so. Varies on bed, engine, and frame.

Persoanally it's hard to believe on the weight y'all are saying.

I read a post earlier of someone saying their 4x4 ex-cab was 4,800lbs...

Considering my Harley weighs 4,900lbs with me in it and I've deleted a lot of s h I t, and I was weighed on a cat scale.

And most lightnings weigh 4,800-5,200lbs... From what I've seen.

I'd love to see proof, and not hear say from anyone...
