BassAckwards; Where I am not a big fan of chrome, only because you always have to keep it shined up to look good and I like black, I think your truck looks great...and I love that hood. I have no idea what is meant by the phrase 'looks Mexican', maybe because I'm a Canuck. I always thought that meant when people 'souped up' their cars with those big-assed shocks that made them bounce up and down!

I like chrome as long as its not overdone but I like the painted stuff too. It all depends on how its done up. I bought an FX4 because of the options it offered, so the bumpers are black, I like the few chrome accents it has, I blacked out the wheels and left the centers chrome.

I wish my front bumper was chrome, black bumpers get rock chips.

I see. I figured they meant like the cars with the 22 inch chrome rims.. but thats like everyone around here. They just look like hoopties.

So reasons that i figured out why people don't like chrome
1. You have to keep it clean
2. it can look too cheesy.
3. Sometimes it just doesn't fit
