I tried for a good balance of chrome and black. Don't really care for all black wheels so I went with a combination of black and chrome(Superfinish to be technical). On the actual body of the truck I prefer to keep chrome to a minimum.

The murdered look is just a fad right now. I see a lot of the high school kids painting everything black on their vehicles in the neighborhood. Just like the chrome thing can be overdone, so can the plasti dip thing. I grew up around muscle cars, so I think seeing a little chrome classes it up a bit. The car hobby is about what each person enjoys and it's part of their personality.

Well there's many different shades and textures of black compared to chrome, not to mention most people who like black over chrome do not murder out their entire truck compared to many trucks on here I've seen with chrome rims, emblems, grills, gas covers, bumpers,stick ons, door handles, hood scoops etc. That much chrome looks like they are advertising for autozone. my rims are gloss black with a chrome lip for contrast and my front bumper is a textured black, same as my rear bumper which looks different then the gloss black rims and contrasts the white color of my truck

Bake and paint the chrome in the housing then tint the reflector on the inside.

Hah those headlight assemblies are 1500 bucks. Not an easy mess up to fix if done wrong.

Haha nothing on a BMW comes off or goes on easy. Lol you have to take the wheel off, fender wells out just to change bulbs. And the bulbs move with the steering wheel.
