I've yet to see any truly useful posts out of you to date other than the criticism you've dropped on this thread, and that hasn't even been constructive.
Good mornin';

Well, I certainly did not expect you to be intolerant of a little good-natured criticism. Was I wrong?

And for someone who advertises himself as a 'lighting guru', why use a beginner projector? ( By the time you would be ready to move an MH1, it would be obsolete as new revisions are released - that is simply not worth the hassle, imho ). Far beter to just sell off the assemblies either as part of the truck or by themselves.

As fer contributions - I reckon folks are thanking me fer nothing, then. Or you simply have not bothered to actually look and just threw that out there
to be mean

To 03f15012 - thanks fer taking it in the manner in which it was intended. You I respect as well. And once again - I stand corrected and offer apologies.

Lastly - I did indicate who my choice was in regards to this thread's topic. Plus - having not been here that long I don't yet have a 'feel' for the capabilities of others so it would not be fair to anyone.

OK - I do have one more in addition to ol' Brewsky: Techrep for general expertise, and pure stubborness.

So, yungin' - the only intolerant mutt in this thread appears to be ..... You

To ibd2328 - thanks fer this thread - I think, lol. If it grows it would be sticky-worthy (after a cleanup in aisle 3, of course)

Probably because it was my first retrofit and I didn't want to hack up my headlight housings and mess it up. And because I also know many other people don't have the skill set to go beyond that type of retrofit, so I did it to see if it would be a more affordable, viable option for those who didn't have the patience or skill to go into a full on retrofit, as most people see a retrofit as over their heads. I wanted to provide them with an easier to set up and understand option, and since I've seen more MH1 builds than FXR builds for these trucks since, I'd say that was accomplished I fully understand its not the latest and greatest projector on the market, and I knew that when I built them, I was going for the best bang for my buck, and they exceeded my expectations.

That thread gets a lot of hits, I think the majority of the members doing the "lighting mods" are the younger ones. Not trying to stereotype anyone, sorry.

Maybe you could help us out with an FXR mod MGD

Hi.

I'll consider it, but judging by the responses I've been getting in other threads, I'd probably just get labelled as a know-it-all and/or get heckled/ridiculed.

Seems that some folks do not sit well with my style of delivery, I reckon.

Do I need that extra hassle? Nupe.

But ....Ask away - I'll do my best to help regardless.

If they can't endure your sense of humor in order to learn a thing or to, - it's their loss ehh. It's as easy as growing thicker skin for the moment or at least having some sort of sense of humor themselves. - All said and done, they can always resort back to frolicking thru their medow of simplicity, or whatever the case.

You use the @ symbol in front of the username. My experience with these trucks come from constantly breaking things.

Haha same here, or from just being bored tinkering with things.
