I'll go first.
I was a career firefighter for 7 years prior to joining the Marine Corps (I know, I know, bass akwards). I was in the Corps for 5 years and now I'm working at my beloved fire department again.
Just curious how many brothers and sisters might be on here. Would love to see your ride, especially if you have lights. All I have, per the rules, is a thin red line tag. Here's my ride:

We have 5 engine companies, 2 quints (100' tower and 75' straight stick) used as truck companies, and 1 squad (rescue). That's all of the big stuff not counting the reserve engines.

Stayed out of Fire Fighting until we built our home out here. Ended up in the local VFD as a Certified Tanker/Pumper Operator.
Was voted in as Deputy Chief the last year before my Lupus got so bad I never knew when I was going to be able to respond.
Good times!
