Just like Z7 said. Follow the lines to the block. See the wire attached to the sensor (grey plug I think). The wire just presses and releases. Unscrew the old and put in the new. Rehook the wire and you are good to go.
Are you getting a low or faulty reading? One minute it will be up normal, the next it will be at nothing, then back. Sensor is faulty then. Good luck.

If you need to see where any electrical component is located, you can click on my name, go to my albums, and you can see the pics of the 4.2, 4.6, and 5.4's and there are the pages with each item listed on them. You can open them and down load them if you need to. If you need the whole component locator section from my service manual, PM me and I'll send it to you. I left out the connectors section as it was 10 pages by itself. Good luck with your search.

Thanks z7 and akdoggie. Found it. Now how in the heck do I get to it to remove it. I am very mechanically inclined. I know I will have to remove the drivers side tire and access from wheel well. Any suggestions. Is there another place to access a spot to add a mechincal oil pressure gauge or is the sending unit the only place. All help is appreiciated.

You will have to either take the tire off (if you want to go thru the fender well, easiest wasy), or go from the top down (hardest way). I'd just remove the tire, get a long extension, and remove the sender that way.
The best was to go about the add on gauge is where you are. Just put in a straight fitting, a tee, your sender and the new sender in the other hole, and viola. You'll have both usable, and working. What ever you get for a gauge, should have instructions about having the gauge and idiot light (or other manual gauge) both functional at once. Good luck.

Yep. Got the gauge already. Just was hoping there was another way. But I will remove the tire and go from there. Do you know what size socket I will need right off, if not i will just bring home the whole set of large metric sockets I have at work.
Thanks again for your great info.
