BG Products. Type it in Google and find a dealer local. They are homebased out of Kansas. We still have one here in Alaska, and this stuff is the best product on the market. Bar None. I sold this stuff and it is the end all of cleaners internally. The reason it is hard to find, beside warehousing, is that it is made for professional mechanics and isn't suppose to be readily available to the general public. The chemicals that come out with this stuff, is extremely pollutant. EPA. Sort of like using Red Can Brakleen. Chlorine. The shop I left, has sold and used it for over 15 years, still does. I have looked at engines that have been treated with 44k, they are so clean inside. Like new. Even those caustic Chrysler products. lol. Great product. Hard to find. There should be a wholesaler near you. Good luck.

It worked on my engine. It took the carbon out of the cylinder and the idle smoothed right back out. It sure does clean up the injectors. Great product. Good luck with the project.

Mine was running like a slug at about 185,000 miles. Has been for a while at that point in time. Couldn't figure it out at first. I never did actually pin point the problem. I narrowed it down tho. I updated everything , - all the maintenance stuff and sensors, O2's and such. Yea, nothing change, still felt doggie or more so , heavy

The engine had great compression, never used oil between changes, even when towing. That's kind of unique lol.. I didn't have misfiring issues, -fuel pump was doing the job. So, I swapped out the injectors and coils. -Did that at the same time. Back then I found a set of Bosch Design 3's (injectors) and a set of yellow tagged Motorcraft coils (508's), - new take-offs from a romeo plant crate engine. The engine was a 4six crown vic motor being parted out on eBay.

Anyway, - made a huge difference, felt like a different truck, - Light, quick and responsive. Yea, no hints, just got lucky I guess.

I have already done the Bosch Gen 3 injector upgrade along with running EFX Stage 2 coils due to higher compression. I have been monitoring mode 6 data for a while and have no miss fires. Also after doing the compression test the other day, I found 3 cylinders down about 35psi from the rest and none of them change more than 3 psi when test wet. So that leads me to a valve sealing issue. It also doesnt help when LTFT is over 39%.

Did you document your readings by chance ? I can interpret what your saying much better with the numbers lol. If I see the numbers, less chance of misunderstanding, uknow.

Have you performed the leak down procedure yet?

Yes here are my current C-test reading along with fuel data and leak down.

C-test:
Cyl 1: 176psi dry/ 179psi wet
Cyl 2: 171psi dry/ 175psi wet
Cyl 3: 140psi dry/ 142psi wet
Cyl 4: 169psi dry/ 171psi wet
Cyl 5: 138psi dry/ 142psi wet
Cyl 6: 172psi dry/ 175psi wet
Cyl 7: 177psi dry/ 179psi wet
Cyl 8: 144psi dry/ 147psi wet

Current fuel trim data:
Bank 1 STFT: +3.9%
Bank 2 STFT: +3.7%
Bank 1 LTFT: +39.6%
Bank 2 LTFT: +40.2%

Leak down test:
Cyl 1: 7%
Cyl 2: 9%
Cyl 3: 44%
Cyl 4: 8%
Cyl 5: 39%
Cyl 6: 9%
Cyl 7: 8%
Cyl 8: 46%

I have a feeling it is a intake valve that is gummed up with carbon and is not sealing correctly. Because while doing the leak down test on TDC for every cylinder I could hear air escaping thru the tb, along with being able to feel it thru the tb.
