Looks clean. Private sale I'd say $12,500 or $13,000. Dealer would ask about $15,000. Trade-in would be around $10,500.

12500 is exactly what I would pay. Maybe 13k depending on how good of shape its in, which by the pics it looks pretty damn clean.

That's the thing, I am a cash buyer. And I've already offered him 13K and he turned it down. So I guess he thinks this truck is made of gold.

So would I be stupid to pay his asking price of $14,500?

For my area, that's a good price. If it were me, I would jump all over it.

Any other suggestions on the price of this truck?

If he turned down $13k cash he is retarded. He can just keep it in my opinion. I would not pay that for a F150 that is 10yrs old. I can buy a 06-07 KR/FX4 SD w/diesel for that.

That just goes to show you, what are comparable trucks going for around you and how much do you want the truck? In my area it sounds like a good deal. Apparently in others, it's not.

In my humble opinion, if he turned down a cash offer within $1500 of what he's asking there must be other interest in the truck.

I would say tell him 13.5 or 14 if he gets the tranny flushed by ford (cost about 400 from ford)

That's seems a little high IMO. I purchased my 2002 for $13200 4 years ago and it only had 72k miles on it. Granted it was completely stock, it does sound like he has had some extras on it, but you don't always get that back. The biggest difference between that one and mine is the lariat vs mine being a XLT.
