I like my pioneer avh4300dvd can get on amazon or ebay for about $300. has gps, Bluetooth, back up camera an a few other add ons! don't have any of them, I really like the head unit! bought a cable off ebay to plug in from the back of the radio to the bottom of the iPhone, let's you play music, videos, YouTube, and pandora. pandora has its on source on the head unit, everything is done off the screen no need to use your iPhone.
also like the dash mod you did I wana do mine carbon fiber! =P
what type of paint did you use anyway?

I am looking for an affordable double din head unit. I know pioneer is the most popular brand but what about JVC? I am seeing JVC brand's Double Din Head Unit. Actually, it price is less than pioneer and Kenwood. Anyone know about of JVC's quality? Or I should stick with pioneer/Kenwood?
upt: I was looking for cheap double din head unit. I have found this website with top 5 list https://theeffectiveguide.com/best-d...din-head-unit/ . Thus, I have bought this Pioneer FH X 720 BT head unit. Which price only 100 bucks.

2015 F-150 3.5 ecoboost
Y'all can say what ya want about this but I have the boss audio double din and back up cam and navigation. Got it for 300 something like that all included. Have had it over 2 years and not a problem. Far as asking the best one I would say it's all a preference. I can play DVD as well. I'd say boss audio.

As said above, there is no "best". Way too many options out there to say. There are better brands, but as said above, even "cheap" units can fill the needs of many.
What year truck do you have? The 10th Gen OEM radio does not have an AUX to plug in to.
Get an iPhone or Android and an adapter to plug it into the factory radio. People won't steal the factory radio. The phone won't be in the car.
This gives you:
- navigation
- all the music you want including XM if you like that
- Upgradeability
Only drawbacks are the somewhat small screen and you have to plugin the phone each time you get in the car. You get used to it. My radio had never left AUX since I got the adapter.
