Default What would you pay 2000 F150 267000mi

Ok I stopped to check out a 2000 / f150 regular cab shot bed for sale. It has 267000mi body fair / interior poor. Clam no major issues. I'm not real familiar with common F150 issues and common problems. what would you pay? They are asking $2200. Kelly blue book price range is $1300 - $2300 just depends on the engine/ tranny type.

Thumbs down

In that kind of condition, depending on the engine (which with a shortbed, id guess V6 4.2), i wouldn't go much about 1600-1700. If the truck is only fair on the outside and needs interior work, you'll spend more time fixing her up than driving her.

2000 tops. I got mine (4x2 v6 5 speed single cab short bed) for 3500. It has some body damage but runs great. 130k on it when I got it

I just recently bought a year 2000 V6 4.2L 5speed and manual 4x4 about 3 months ago (it was previously a salt truck...). at the time it had 127,000 miles on it. and it also had no tailgate, a horizontal split down the windshield, a chunk taken out of the driver's seat (no big deal) but, it also had a new alternator. I bought it for $1,650. It does have rust on it (holes in the bed) I just recently replaced the rear differential fluid/gasket because it was leaking and i also replaced a PCV hose in the back. All in all i think i got a good deal

With the information you provided, the year, and the mileage there is no way i would even consider $2000 for it, engine wouldnt even matter

That's way too much. I wouldnt even think of buying a truck with that high mileage. I paid 5200 or my 02 in 08 and had 89,000 on it no rust interior perfect no body probs new tires v6 longbed reg cab 2wd only thing I've had to do is replace the brakes.
